Will I be heard?

I do not know if there is a God. But I do know that if there is one, he is a thinker.

He definitely can’t be one who feels. He stands detached on the laws of just and fair evolution understanding very well that for progress in time to end well, there ought to be blood, crime, despair and brutality. He respects balance in the long run but then, that is all which matters to him.

It would be quite naive and stupid to go ask for escape or betterment when such trivial short term joys for you . . . you who is a speck of the speck in the universe of existence, you who is just a part of the bigger plan , is not really one worthy of special attention at all and any injustice meted out to you was also conceived as a part of the bigger plan.

Unless better times and light ought to reach you, not because you are special and moved the heart of God, but because that was also a part of the big plan that affects every other cell of existence, connected to you, then do not expect the world to be all rosy and fair.

It is one big gamble game of all things good and bad, and the probability of you getting good or bad is not one of prayer or emotion but one that operates on fair laws of nature.

Clap, clap, clap.

Wonderfully written.

Agree that any injustice meted out to you was also conceived as a part of the bigger plan. . But prayer, while it may not permit escape from the treatment meted out to me, may atleast give me the mind to accept whatever suffering that came to me. (Unless my suffering was also a part of the bigger plan).

A good one Sindu.
All that joy or sorrow in life, its just going to change. Thats what gives everyone the hope, which is very necessary to move forward in life. And with out this nature's rule the life cannot prolong in this competitive, fast and no courtesy world. This is just my opinion.

@Anonymous: What a brilliant thought! Seriously! It just gave me so much more confidence to know that yes! I could continue posts along these lines because there are definitely people out there who appreciate it and more, can add their own wonderful snippets of wisdom.

Yes, I guess what matters is, end of the day, is prayer a form of union with higher energy for you or is it a bargain/ appeasement for selfish desire? If it is the form, then nothing more blissful than prayer.

@Anonymous: Thank you! :)

@Natarajan: Sometimes sorrow might not change Nataraj. What is needed is not hope but acceptance! :) Yes, easier said.

wish like in movies where they tag ppl as 'thyagi' who sacrifice for the larger good, we are tagged so in real life too. but then reality has this qlty that it hits you unaware. we never know we did the right thing till the end or nevr at all. i wish i could have a macroscopic camera to see the larger scheme of things. Will i be able to understand it even then??

@Mr.Weirdo: Beautiful thought. Alas, this very quality of ours to feel good about our life and purpose is probably ego in disguise (?) and till that leaves, the vicious cycle never ceases.

@Siddarth: Aha... should I read that as a feeler or a thinker? I wonder :)

feelin good abt something is based on the knowledge we have on the subject rite. i maybe happy to have written an exam well but only after discussing that wid some1 else will we realise we approached it in the wrong way. we maybe able to guess the threshold which helps us not to insane. but then that confidence inflicts in us the feeling (and only now i am coming to ur point :D ) that we are right. afterall we have done the basics well rite .... wish we are smart enough to access groundbreaking realities of our beliefs. if that was the case then our religion who have evolved likes us rather than bein stagnated. i hope schools pay importance to imbibe in the posterity to be open to any idea till its discussed to death. this attitude must come from within you know. only if its inserted in the primary level there is hope for betterment.

This is a rather depressing post :). To think/know/accept that we are absolutely nothing in the creation of the Creator is rather depressing and since your post is conveying that fact, I said so...

In spirituality, this understanding is one of the early steps. I wrote a post sometime ago in this line with an attempted humor and it didn't go well as this is a serious subject to write about so I had to delete that post even before it saw sunlight. You have written it very nicely.
